Dock Connector

This is a dock connector with attached microphone. If you are having trouble syncing up, you may need this replaced. The AT&T and Verizon cables are slightly different with the Verizon cable being about a half inch longer and having a small hook in the cable halfway up. Newer releases such as the 8GB discounted model may be using the AT&T size cable, so you may want to look at the cable to see if it has the hook before ordering.
