@Michael - I've seen people do it before, but it usually won't look too good. We sell the official ones real cheap if you'd rather just buy one.

I press the power button, you hear the drives get power, but there is no display and it doesnt come on. Any suggestions? I think it might be the power supply or display?

I purchased a logic board from PM and followed the video all worked perfectly and saved my imac from the trash....it is perfect possibly better,,, video was great !!!! thx...mv

@Gp - this is a take-apart video. Putting it back together is just doing everything in reverse.
